Begonia 'Indian Summer'

About this gift

Begonia ‘Indian Summer’ is a warm-toned rhizomatous begonia with soft, broad leaves in shades of russet, amber, and deep olive. Dark veins spread from a plum-coloured centre. In bright, indirect light, its colours deepen, giving it a rich, glowing look among greener plants.

Origins

This begonia is a modern hybrid begonia bred for ornamental houseplant use. Its parent species come from the tropical and subtropical forests of the Americas and Asia, where rhizomatous begonias grow in humid, dappled shade.
