Barmann Cellars' Mountain Doodle is a single-varietal Perry, made 100% from Hendre Huffcap pears. Pears were grown on a legendary cider orchard in Washington State's Skagit Valley. This Perry was spontaneously fermented and bottle conditioned using local raw honey. The perry drinks dry with light & balanced tannin & acidity. It is a rich and aromatic Perry with floral notes, accompanied by a gentle astringency and a dry crisp refreshing finish. Light and easy drinking. A soft yeasty nose that fades away if you leave the bottle open for a couple minutes before enjoying. Highly refreshing!

Barmann Cellars is a relatively new cider & wine project from our friends Stephanie & Jesse, who purchased a farm in the Nooksack Valley in Northwest Washington. Their vineyard & orchard are located on the southern slope of Sumas Mountain in the Puget Sound AVA. The farm is home to some of Whatcom County’s oldest grape vines and fruit trees.
