A tallboy of the flagship Old Fashioned cube: warm orange oil, aromatic bitters, and just enough sugar to round the edges without softening the spirit. Formatted for the bar cart that pours often, whether the drinker prefers bourbon or rye.
Drop two cubes into a glass and saturate with 2oz of water for 30 seconds. Muddle the saturated cubes until they become a simple syrup. Mix with 2oz of bourbon or rye and ice, then strain and serve in a glass over ice. Garnish with an orange twist or a cocktail cherry.
Tallboy holds 30 cubes. Two-cube minimum per drink yields 15 cocktails, one-cube pours yield 30. Approximately 16 calories and 4 carbs per cube, less than a teaspoon of sugar. Non-alcoholic. Bourbon or rye is added separately. Naturally flavoured.
