This African American figurine serves as a striking and powerful reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made for the sins of man. It depicts the Messiah nailed to the crucifix with "INRI" etched on a sign above his head. The word "INRI" stands for "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum" which translates as "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews".
