About this gift
EH Taylor Small Batch Straight Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey represents the ultimate tribute to Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr., one of the nineteenth century's most visionary distillers. Handcrafted in small batches, this legendary spirit undergoes a patient maturation process inside the historic, century-old brick warehouses that the Colonel himself constructed. Every single barrel is meticulously analyzed, selected, and blended to ensure absolute consistency and exceptional structural balance. The production process utilizes the renowned, low-rye Mash Bill Number One, resulting in a classic, incredibly refined flavor profile. Bottled at a robust one hundred proof in strict accordance with historical standards, this expression delivers an uncompromising sipping experience that easily outperforms ordinary, mass-produced bourbons.
In the glass, the liquid displays a beautiful, deep copper color with warm amber highlights. The nose opens with a sweet, highly aromatic bouquet dominated by rich butterscotch, toasted oak, and caramelized sugar. On the full-bodied palate, expect a classic wave of sweet caramel corn mingled gracefully with dark licorice and vanilla.
